Welcome. I am collecting stories of people who are in the arts and in the teaching fields who are actively engaged in working on cross-cultural dialogues and on collaborations and what those experiences are like. I am in the middle of working with artists of various ages, ethnic backgrounds, races, and religions.
My project, YO MISS! Teaching Inside the Cultural Divide shares stories of working with and collaborating with people from many different cultures and the kinds of dialogues and patience that it takes to really engage in dialogues that share different perspectives.
On March 30, 2014, we held our first workshop to engage educators, students, and artists in a dialogue about our lives. It was held at the Bronfman Center at NYU. I invite the participants in that workshop to post their reflections, stories, and poems here.
Great! I will look trough my notes!
